Dominion Elder Care Consultants provide training on dementia, a condition of the brain causing loss of mental functioning in the areas of language, memory, judgement, and orientation. As Eldercare Experts and consultants, our trained and knowledgeable staff provides consultation, seminars and classroom training. We specialise in Dementia/ Alzheimer's training. Our Dementia/Alzheimer seminar is an 8-hour class for groups or individuals and it is approved by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). Margaret Salisu-Horadin,LMSW, Vice President of Dominion Elder Care Consultants, received a Social Work Master's Degree from Stony Brook University, NY. She also hold a Master's education in Sociology. She is a Consultant to many Long Term Care Facilities. She has social work experience in long term care, mental health/substance abuse and education. Her teaching experience spans over 12 years. Her goal, as well as the company's goal, is to improve your knowledge in elder care so you can improve quality of life for the elderly. |

Special Services to Caregivers and Older adults with Dementia: Are you or a family members recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia? Are you confused and unsure of what to do? Give us a call. We are here to help. We will work with you to create a plan to meet your needs and that of your family members. We will provide you with relevant information, resources and options that are available to meet your needs. We can provide our assessments in the privacy of your homes. We may also accompany you to the hospital and advocate on your behalf or of your family members. Rely on us to assist you in this critical time. We also provide telephone services. All calls are confidential. Our rates are reasonable and specially packaged for the family caregivers and older adults with dementia.
